Chiclana to Host Second Edition of Training and Employment Fair at Bodegas Vélez

The event, scheduled from April 14 to 16, aims to connect students, businesses, and organizations to boost local employability.

The city of Chiclana is preparing for the second edition of its Training and Employment Fair, a key event to be held at Bodegas Vélez from April 14 to 16, bringing together students, companies, and organizations dedicated to improving employability.

The Chiclana City Council, through the Economic Development Delegation, has announced the second edition of the Training and Employment Fair. This event, which will take place at Bodegas Vélez on April 14, 15, and 16, was presented by Manuela Pérez, delegate for Economic Development, accompanied by Minerva Montañez from the Arrabal Association, Domingo Galván from IES La Pedrera Blanca, and María Robayo from Cruz Roja.

"This initiative has been very well received in previous years, and we hope that this year it will exceed expectations, giving visibility to the vocational training branches available in the city, as well as to entities dedicated to job creation, such as Cruz Roja, Arrabal, or Eracis, among others."

Pérez also highlighted that the fair will offer access to various job opportunities and facilitate resume collection, emphasizing the participation of the Chiclana Business Association. She also thanked the educational centers and participating entities for their collaboration. For her part, Minerva Montañez of the Arrabal Association expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate again, stressing the benefit this represents for Chiclana citizens and the chance to promote their employment programs.
Domingo Galván, a teacher at IES La Pedrera Blanca, encouraged citizens to attend to complement and expand their training, highlighting the fair's adaptability to various productive sectors. María Robayo of Cruz Roja thanked her organization's presence, stating that the goal is to make their work visible and show attendees the possibilities for gaining work experience or finding employment.
The fair will showcase Chiclana's rich vocational training offerings, including a wide range of professional fields such as agriculture, electricity, electronics, personal image, IT and communications, furniture and cork, tourist accommodation, information and technical assistance, lodging and laundry, refrigeration installations, commercial activities, machining, early childhood education, administrative management, and finance. In addition to the exhibition, the event will feature stands from local entities, round tables, workshops, and networking sessions, with the presence of vocational training students, companies, and associations.
