After departing last Tuesday, May 19th, the pilgrims from Cádiz completed their journey to the Almonteño village, where they paid homage to the Virgen del Rocío. Left behind are the days of travel, marked by the sound of drums accompanying the brotherhood's Simpecado, the vows, prayers, and tears of emotion experienced before the image of the Virgin.
Upon their arrival in Cádiz, after crossing the Carranza Bridge, the pilgrims were welcomed by family, neighbors, and devotees. The procession route included emblematic streets such as Zarza, Avenida Periodista Beatriz Cienfuegos, Avenida Cayetano del Toro, Avenida Ana de Viya, calle Trille, Avenida María Auxiliadora, and calle Poeta Nieto, concluding at the Church of San José.
As dusk fell, the Simpecado began its final journey to the brotherhood's house, located on calle García Gamero, marking the end of an experience that will remain etched in the memory of all participants.
