The fourteenth edition of San Fernando's 'Noche Blanca' gathered thousands of citizens in the central streets, especially on Calle Real, enjoying the program and the festive atmosphere.

The traditional 'Noche Blanca' (White Night) of San Fernando celebrated its fourteenth edition last Friday, consolidating itself as an August classic. This event, which aims to be a reason for citizens to take to the streets, attracted a large crowd, particularly in the section of Calle Real between the Alameda and the Iglesia Mayor.
The success of the event was reflected in the high occupancy of terraces, bars, and hospitality businesses in the city center, which reported full tables from dinner onwards. The initiative, held on the first Friday of August, has been a constant since the summer of the Bicentennial of the Cortes, with the only interruption being the pandemic.
The program focused on three main stages: Plaza del Rey hosted the concert by pianist Chico Pérez; Plaza de la Iglesia buzzed with the rock band Diexo; and the Alameda Moreno de Guerra featured a display of classic vehicles, attracting numerous curious onlookers.
During the night, a young man was injured in the arm after breaking a shop window at the intersection of Calle Real and Juan Rivero (formerly Héroes del Baleares).
The 'Noche Blanca' also extended to Plaza de San José with family and children's activities, and to the Museo Camarón with live performances. Local businesses contributed with fashion shows and a 'street market', while guided tours of monuments kept alive the cultural spirit of the event, inspired by major European cities.
