The Culture Department of the Vícar City Council has organized this new theatrical event, featuring Yllana's latest production. The play, titled Far West, is a laughter-filled tribute to the world of Western films, promising an evening of entertainment for the audience in Vícar.
The performance is scheduled for April 25, starting at nine in the evening, at the Teatro Auditorio Ciudad de Vícar. Yllana, founded in 1991, has established itself as a gestural humor theater company, although it has expanded its activities to include the creation, production, and distribution of shows, events, and audiovisual formats, in addition to managing theatrical spaces and developing cultural projects.
With 31 years of experience, Yllana has produced a total of 37 theatrical shows. In Far West, the company invites spectators on a journey through a wild and lawless world, exploring typical Western settings such as Indian tribes, seedy saloons, dangerous deserts, duels at high noon, and grand chases. The proposal is characterized by its action and by provoking laughter through gestures, onomatopoeias, and comical situations, all with a simple but effective set design during the almost two-hour duration.
Tickets for the show are already available for purchase at the Casa de la Juventud y el Deporte de Vícar, priced at five euros.
