The agreement reached between both clubs allows the Andalusian team to secure a profit of 2.5 million euros compared to the initial investment made four years ago. The transaction also includes a clause granting UD Almería 15% of any future sale of the player.
The 22-year-old forward ends his time at the club following a loan spell at FC Alverca in the Portuguese league. During his time in Portugal, he scored ten goals in 32 matches, a performance that attracted interest from the English side.
With this move, the sporting management aims to reduce the wage bill. The goal is to have more financial flexibility to face upcoming competitive challenges and squad planning, having concluded the player's cycle at the Mediterráneo stadium.
