The Almería team is back in action following their derby victory in Granada. The training session brought positive news: the reincorporation of a Catalan winger to the group, who appears to have overcome a right quadriceps muscle injury.
This player, who was injured after the visit to Santander and missed the regional derbies against Málaga and Granada, would now be available for Monday's match at 8:30 PM against CD Mirandés, pending medical clearance. However, he finished the session earlier than his teammates to avoid overexertion.
On the other hand, the situation of a Ghanaian midfielder creates more uncertainty. The player continues to work separately from the group, performing specific exercises under the supervision of the physical re-adaptation specialist. His progress in the coming days will be crucial to determine if he will be fit to play. He was substituted in the match against Racing due to knee discomfort and was also absent against the Málaga and Granada teams.
Regarding injuries, the ankle knock suffered by a right-back from Aragon in Los Cármenes does not appear to be serious. The player has trained without issues, and his participation will be fundamental, as another defender must serve his second match of suspension after receiving a red card at the end of the clash against the Málaga team. A center-back is ready to fill that position if necessary.
Furthermore, the right-back from Aragon is among the five players facing potential suspension, which could affect the subsequent visit to Burgos. The other players in this situation are two Portuguese midfielders, an Italian center-back, and a Senegalese central midfielder.
In the opposing team, CD Mirandés, they will be without their top scorer, a forward from Seville, who will serve his second suspension cycle for accumulating yellow cards. A Catalan midfielder, on loan from UDA, will also be unavailable due to the well-known 'fear clause' in his contract.
