A man wanted by Almería Criminal Court No. 6 was arrested in Santander by the National Police while inside a vehicle that had been reported stolen in Lorca (Murcia).

The arrest took place during a routine patrol by the National Police in the La Albericia area of Santander. Officers observed the individual inside a parked car, and his disoriented behavior prompted them to approach and identify him.
During the data verification, the police confirmed that the man had an active judicial claim, issued by Almería Criminal Court No. 6. This order was related to a crime of harassment against personal freedom.
Additionally, upon checking the vehicle's license plate, it was confirmed that it had been reported stolen in the town of Lorca (Murcia) in mid-December, according to Guardia Civil records.
With this information, officers proceeded to arrest the man on the night of April 3. He is accused of an alleged crime of misappropriation of a motor vehicle, in addition to executing the pending judicial order. After his arrest, he was transferred to police facilities and subsequently brought before judicial authorities.
Although the man was provisionally released after testifying before the judicial authority, he remains linked to the case opened by the Almería court. The police action allowed for the resolution of both the location of a stolen vehicle and the identification of a person with an active judicial order in a single operation.
