The Ministry of University, Research and Innovation has published the resolution detailing the PAU calendar for the 2025/2026 academic year in Andalusia, including crucial dates for applicants in Almería. Following the exams held on June 2, 3, and 4, scores will be available on June 11. From that day until June 22, students can submit their applications for degree programs in the Andalusian public university system.
The admission process, regulated by the Single University District of Andalusia (DUA), stipulates that the first allocation of places in the ordinary phase will take place on July 3, followed by a second allocation on July 16. Subsequently, up to five additional allocation periods, known as 'resultas', will run from July 24 to October 8, to fill remaining vacancies.
For the extraordinary session, scheduled from June 30 to July 2, scores will be published on July 9, which is also when the application period will open. The first extraordinary allocation will be on July 24, and the second on September 3. The 'resultas' lists for this phase will be published between September 11 and October 8.
It is essential for applicants to interact with the system during each allocation, as inactivity can lead to exclusion from the process. The application must be single and list all desired degree programs in order of preference. This order is binding, so it is recommended to include a sufficient number of options to avoid complications. Previous years' cut-off scores are available on the DUA website for reference, though they are not fixed and may vary.
The admission system includes up to six quotas for students with special considerations, in addition to the general quota. These include percentages reserved for university graduates (1%), students with disabilities (5%), high-level athletes (3%, rising to 8% in certain degrees), individuals over 25, 40, and 45 years old (2% each), and people at risk of social exclusion residing in Andalusia, Ceuta, and Melilla (an additional 1%).
