Senegalese midfielder Dion Lopy is once again available for UD Almería after serving his suspension for accumulated yellow cards. His return is a significant boost for the red-and-white team ahead of the match next Sunday, May 24th, at 18:30, at the Estadio Municipal El Molinón-Enrique Castro "Quini" against Real Sporting.
However, coach Joan Francesc Ferrer Sicilia 'Rubi' will not have all his players at his disposal. Central defender Federico Bonini was sent off for two yellow cards and will have to serve a one-match ban. Additionally, right-back Marcos Luna received his fifth booking of the season, which also prevents him from playing the next game.
Given these absences, Nelson Monte and Daijiro Chirino are expected to cover the defensive positions for the trip to Gijón. The squad will resume training this Tuesday after two days of rest, with five preparatory sessions before traveling to the Principality of Asturias.
