The Brotherhood of the Patron Saint of the Virgen del Mar organized a special day that included a solemn mass at the Sanctuary, broadcast by Canal Sur, followed by a concert performed by the Cruz Roja de Sevilla Music Band. Both events attracted such a large crowd that the temple was completely full, leaving many faithful at the doors.

Throughout the day, the Sanctuary's doors remained open to allow devotees to visit the patron saint of Almería. The image of the Virgen del Mar wore a complete outfit for the first time in over 40 years and debuted a new rostrillo crafted by El Oribe, made from gold donated by the faithful over decades.
