The mayor of Peligros has sent a letter to the Metropolitan Transport Consortium of Granada Area, expressing concern over the "repeated incidents" affecting public transport services in the town. These deficiencies are causing "growing discomfort" among citizens, as detailed in the letter.
Among the main complaints is the failure to implement the announced reinforcements for Holy Week, which were not put in place without prior notice or coordination with the Town Council. This situation led to overcrowded buses and, at times, left users stranded at stops.
“"We will continue to fight for the interests of the municipality's residents."
Furthermore, the Town Council regrets not having yet received the annual agreement necessary to process the corresponding payment, which hinders municipal economic planning. The local administration has recalled that since April of last year, meetings and communications have been held with the Consortium to request information on improvements and the maintenance of existing lines.
Despite submitting their requests in September of last year and holding a meeting in December where proposals were promised to be studied, the last communication on January 8 has not received a response to date, leading the Town Council to insist on the need for solutions.
