During the first fortnight of September, municipal teachers will participate in a pioneering training initiative designed to prepare them for the challenges of the new academic year. The training covers the use of internal municipal applications, social media management, and artificial intelligence tools.
The UP councilor, Silvia Marín, explained that the program includes specific modules to enhance support for diversity and students with special needs, in collaboration with the Social Inclusion department. Gender identity and expression among students will also be addressed.
In addition to technological and pedagogical training, teachers will spend these days organizing departments and preparing key activities such as Cultural Week and end-of-year events. Delegates will be appointed per discipline to facilitate interdepartmental coordination through regular meetings.
More than 3,000 students are expected to return to classrooms from September 15th to participate in 31 workshops spread across different areas. Available spots for these workshops can still be requested until September 10th.
