The first incident took place on the GR-30, the Granada bypass, at kilometer 20 heading towards Bailén. According to data provided by the 112 Andalucía Emergency Service, two vehicles collided around 12:00 PM. As a result of the impact, one man required transport to the San Cecilio Clinical Hospital.
At the same time, another accident was reported on the GR-3303 road, within the municipality of Las Gabias. In this instance, a head-on collision occurring around 8:50 AM at kilometer 7, heading towards Alhendín, left three people injured.
Personnel from the Guardia Civil, Local Police, 061 health services, and the Fire Department were dispatched to the scene of the second accident. Firefighters had to perform extraction work to free the victims, who were subsequently taken to hospitals for medical treatment.
