This agreement will allow international students to reside in Belmez, strengthening the activity of the town's Polytechnic School and attracting talent. The president of the Provincial Council of Córdoba, Salvador Fuentes, highlighted that the initiative aims to generate economic activity and consolidate the school as an academic benchmark.
Fuentes emphasized the international dimension of the project, which turns Belmez into a meeting point between Córdoba and Latin American countries, establishing academic and human ties. The agreement unites education, territory, employment, and international cooperation for the enhancement of the Polytechnic School.
The provincial president also recalled previous collaboration with the Polytechnic School, including a research agreement aimed at reinforcing innovative activity for the benefit of the territory. He pointed out the university entity's role for the Guadiato region as a generator of activity, employment, and opportunities, essential for retaining population and offering future paths to young people.
