The Peligros City Council and the Peña Amantes del Flamenco are organizing the second edition of the Peligros Flamenco Festival next Saturday, July 25th, at the Municipal Amphitheater.

The festival, aiming to establish itself as a major cultural event of the summer in the metropolitan area of Granada, will offer free admission until full capacity. The evening will be hosted by flamenco singer, writer, and communicator Juan Pinilla.
The lineup is headlined by Rancapino Chico, a significant singer of his generation and son of the legendary Rancapino. He will be accompanied by guitarist Antonio Higuero and palmeros Edu Gómez and Naim Real.
The second main act will be the flamenco ensemble of Agustín Barajas, a Granada-born dancer and choreographer with national and international projection. His performance will feature the singing of Manuel Heredia and Fina Heredia, and the guitar of Marcos Palometas.
The Councilor for Culture, Cristina López Núñez, highlighted the festival's aim to become a stable fixture in the municipality's cultural programming and to bring the best of flamenco to residents and visitors, underscoring the town's commitment to culture and Andalusian identity.
From the Peña Amantes del Flamenco, they emphasize that this edition represents a step forward in consolidating the festival, blending the purity of singing with the power of dance.
The president of the Peña, Pepi Martínez, expressed gratitude to the City Council and the Peña for their continued efforts in promoting flamenco, an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and preserving its purity.
