Law 3/2023, of March 30, on Circular Economy of Andalusia, aims to foster an environmental protection model based on efficient resource use, extended product lifespan, and waste minimization.
Thanks to the Concertation Agreement signed with the Provincial Council of Granada, work has begun on the development of the PLEC for Monachil. The first phase includes an initial diagnosis of current resource consumption and waste management in the municipality.
To incorporate public opinion, a citizen participation day will be held on Wednesday, September 30, at 6:00 PM, at the Casa de la Cultura (Monachil neighborhood). At this meeting, the drafting company will provide information about the Plan and collect suggestions for improvement in waste prevention and management.
Online questionnaires for individuals and businesses have been made available, accessible through links provided on the municipal website.
