The measure, approved in the July municipal plenary session, will allow the line to operate with two vehicles from Monday to Friday, thereby improving public transport during the summer season.
This reinforcement becomes effective after the modification of the agreement between the City Council of Santa Fe and the Transport Consortium. With the improvement, the first service will depart at 06:50 AM from Monday to Friday, and at 07:00 AM on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
As explained by the City Council, this action responds to the increased demand during the summer and aims to facilitate travel for public transport users.
The municipal investment for this improvement will be 34,000 euros annually. The council has also announced that efforts will be made to maintain this reinforcement throughout the year with the agreement renewal planned for 2027.
