The initiative, designed for children, youth, and families, kicks off this Friday with the II Children's Night Gala and the Night Route to the Old Hermitage, departing at 9:30 PM from Merendero Los Alayos, including refreshments and a surprise activity.
The schedule continues on July 6th with a Nautical Adventure at the Béznar reservoir for young people aged 12 and over, offering kayaking and paddle surfing for 25 euros. That same day, registration opens for the Queen and Mister of the Dílar 2026 Festivals pageants, with applications accepted until July 9th.
Throughout July, the Dílar Library will host a musical house-building workshop on July 7th, and the Plaza Mirador de Sierra Nevada will be the stage for the children's play “The Monsters' Library” on July 9th. A visit to the Flamenco Museum and the show 'Irving's Journey' is also scheduled for July 10th.
The IV White Night will take place on July 11th with chill-out music, followed by children's entertainment and storytelling on July 14th and 15th. The program also includes a Therapeutic Verbena on July 17th and a family trip to the Aquatropic water park on July 20th.
The last weeks of July will feature a pizza and movie night (July 22nd), the XII Veleta Peak Hiking Route - Dílar's Roof (July 24th and 25th) with barbecue and music, a children's water party (July 27th), and family theater 'The History of Art for Children' (July 28th). On July 29th and 30th, a youth trip to Terra Mítica and Aqualandia is planned, and on July 31st, the III Dílar Cultural Gymkhana.
August will begin with the III Remember Party (August 1st) and continue with paintball and Zumba sessions (August 2nd), a smoothie cooking workshop (August 4th), and a cultural trip to 'Lorca and the Gardens of the Generalife' (August 5th). On August 7th, there will be a giant slide and mini fair, and on August 8th, the traditional horse ribbon races.
In the sports section, padel tournaments (July 4th and 5th), pickleball (July 12th), and futsal (July 18th) will be held. Additionally, on Wednesdays in July, a scrapbooking workshop will be offered, and on Mondays in July and early August, a costume workshop will take place at the Library.
