The Social Welfare Department of the Guillena City Council has launched the 2026-27 academic year for the municipal program Supera, which supports children and young people with disabilities. The initiative began on Wednesday, October 1, with 35 students participating.
Services offered to younger children, who attend in the afternoon, include individualized attention in speech therapy, physiotherapy, educational support, and cognitive stimulation.
For young people, who attend classes in the morning, a social skills workshop has also been developed, which includes monthly participation in the radio program 'Guillena al día' on Onda Guillena Radio. The first broadcast is scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, at 11 AM.
Additionally, this year incorporates music therapy and body stimulation sessions through music, in collaboration with the Municipal Music School, with two sessions per week.
The program, operational since 2006, is based at the Supera Building, located on Dr. Fléming street. Enrollment remains open throughout the year for families requiring the program's services.
