The Summer Camp in Cúllar Vega, a municipal educational leisure initiative, will extend its activities until next September 4th. The program, aimed at children between 3 and 12 years old, has seen a significant welcome from the town's families throughout the summer, operating at full capacity even during August.
The daily offering includes a variety of activities, workshops, educational games, as well as sports and recreational proposals. The main goal is to provide an entertainment alternative for the youngest ones while simultaneously serving as a support tool for the work-life balance of parents during school holidays.
The Summer School primarily utilizes the facilities of the La Viña Early Childhood Education Center, also using other municipal spaces for the development of the various scheduled activities.

The Mayor of Cúllar Vega, Jorge Sánchez, accompanied by the Councilor for Education, María Ángeles Polo, and the head of Sueños Dulces, Antonio Nieto, visited the facilities to gain firsthand insight into the activities. Sánchez highlighted "the enormous success this program continues to have year after year, operating at full capacity also during August and responding to a very specific need of many families in our municipality".
Councilor María Ángeles Polo emphasized that the camp "goes far beyond offering a space where children are supervised during the holidays." She stressed the commitment to "a true educational leisure program where each day includes workshops, games, sports, and activities designed for learning while having fun," and also thanked "the magnificent response from families and the enthusiasm with which the children participate every day."
The Cúllar Vega City Council reaffirms its commitment to municipal conciliation policies, reinforcing the offer of initiatives that are "truly useful" for residents. The success of the Summer Camp, as Mayor Jorge Sánchez concludes, demonstrates that "conciliation and a quality educational and leisure offering for our minors must remain a priority."
