The arrest took place this Monday after a search of the suspect's home, where officers found a knife and clothing believed to have been used in the incident. The operation also led to the seizure of over 3,000 euros in cash and a plantation of 154 marijuana plants in one of the rooms, along with an illegal connection to the electricity grid.
The assault occurred next to an establishment in Peligros. The detainee attempted to access an area restricted to employees, and when denied by the manager, he stabbed the victim twice in the chest, causing extremely serious injuries that required urgent transfer to the Traumatology Hospital of Granada.
The Organic Unit of Judicial Police of the Civil Guard of Granada took over the investigation. Inquiries, along with information provided by witnesses regarding the aggressor's clothing and escape direction, allowed them to reconstruct his trajectory and locate his home. The Local Police of Peligros actively collaborated in the investigation.
The detainee is charged with attempted homicide, threats, drug trafficking, and electricity fraud. He will be brought before the Instruction Section of the Court of First Instance of Granada, Plaza 6.
