Officers from the Local Police responded to a property in the Malaga municipality of Alhaurín el Grande following a medical emergency alert. Unable to get a response at the door and perceiving a vital risk, officers gained entry to the home, where they found the sole occupant experiencing health issues and requested an ambulance.
While the man was being attended to by medical personnel, police noticed a loaded revolver, ready for use, on a table in the home's entrance. They preventively seized the weapon and referred the case to the Civil Guard, who launched an investigation and confirmed that the resident, of British origin, did not possess a firearms license.
The investigation culminated in a search of the residence, where two additional loaded handguns were found, along with over a thousand cartridges of various calibers. High-powered projectiles associated with long-barreled weapons were also discovered, as reported by the Malaga Command this Monday.
Ultimately, officers from the Civil Guard's Main Post in Alhaurín el Grande formally investigated the occupant for an alleged crime of illegal possession of weapons, forwarding the proceedings to the competent judicial authority.
