The Lucena City Council, through the Fiestas Department, has organized a program combining proposals for all audiences, from families to visitors, over three festive days.
The celebration will begin on Thursday, July 30, at 9:00 PM with the official lighting ceremony in Llanete de San Francisco. This will be followed by a children's badge workshop and a concert by the Sociedad Didáctico Musical Banda de Música de Lucena. On the same day, the fairgrounds will host Children's Day, with special prices on attractions.
On Friday, July 31, activities will continue with a traditional games workshop at 9:00 PM and a sevillanas dance exhibition by the Araceli Hidalgo Dance Academy at 11:00 PM. In the evening, the Caseta Municipal will host the orchestra Serenata Music Band at 10:30 PM, with free admission.
On Saturday, August 1, the festivities will conclude with a balloon twisting and face painting workshop at 9:00 PM and the tribute to Siempre Así «A Mi Manera» at 10:30 PM. The Caseta Municipal will feature the tribute show to Raphael «Escándalo» at 11:00 PM.
Concurrently, the F’Estival Lucena will present its final summer events at the Plaza de Toros: on July 30, the humor show by Aguilera y Mení; on July 31, the tribute to Las Guerreras K-Pop; and on August 1, the La Flamenca party. These offerings aim to increase public attendance and expand leisure and entertainment options in the city.
It is also reminded that due to the setup of attractions and fair stalls, this Wednesday's municipal market will be held in Ronda del Valle.
