Infrico, a prominent industrial refrigeration firm based in Lucena, has commemorated its fortieth anniversary at an event attended by institutional representatives. The city's mayor, Aurelio Fernández, lauded the company's trajectory, describing it as a benchmark not only locally and regionally but also nationally and internationally.
Fernández emphasized the importance of the hard work, perseverance, and enthusiasm that have driven Infrico's growth into its current reality. He highlighted that companies like this are crucial for Lucena, as they create opportunities and enable citizens to build their lives within the city, contributing to Lucena's global recognition.
The mayor also pointed out the need for expansion of Infrico's facilities, a project for which administrations commit to offering support to expedite its execution. Despite the relative newness of its current installations, the company already requires expansion to continue its development.

The Minister of Justice, José Antonio Nieto, also participated, congratulating the Infrico team on its 40th anniversary. Nieto highlighted that the company exports advanced and reliable technology nationally and internationally, positioning Lucena as a global leader in the industrial refrigeration sector. He added that the factory attracts researchers, technicians, and engineers from around the world, who contribute talent to the city.
Meanwhile, the president of CECO and the Chamber of Commerce of Córdoba, Antonio Díaz, emphasized the company's longevity, calling its upward trajectory over four decades admirable. He underscored Infrico's contribution to Córdoba's positive trade balance, highlighting its export-oriented nature and its impact on the province's GDP, employment, and wealth.
