During a campaign event held in Lucena, a prominent national political leader launched strong criticisms against the president of the Junta de Andalucía. The politician stated that the Andalusian leader shows greater consideration for citizens from outside the community than for Andalusians themselves, especially when questioning the concept of “national priority” present in his party's government agreements in other regions.
The national leader described the Andalusian president as a “friendly and calm” person, but insisted that he avoids addressing the “real problems” of the citizenry. He also compared his stance to that of a former Government president, suggesting that both avoid fulfilling their electoral promises when faced with the possibility of agreements with other political formations.
“"He has a very big heart for everyone to come here, but that means he has a very small heart for the interests of those within."
At the same event, the national political leader labeled the president of the central Government as “the main problem for Spaniards.” He rejected criticisms regarding his party's agreements' non-compliance with the Constitution, arguing that it is the central Government itself that promotes “discrimination against Spaniards” through “massive regulation of immigrants.”
An autonomous candidate, present at the event, reaffirmed his commitment to prioritize “Andalusians and Spaniards” if he becomes president of the Junta. He expressed regret over the Andalusian president's discomfort with the concept of “national priority,” defending it as a matter of “common sense.”
