The Guardia Civil of Estepa has arrested a woman and investigated a man for a violent robbery perpetrated against a 93-year-old elderly man. The victim, who had physical limitations and used a cane, was approached by the woman while walking in the public street. After agreeing to give her a small amount of money, the now investigated woman allegedly searched for the elderly man to attack him.
According to information provided by the Guardia Civil in a press release, the alleged aggressor reportedly ambushed the victim, knocking him to the ground and taking advantage of his "evident fragility and limited reaction capacity." While the victim remained defenseless on the ground, the woman allegedly called a second person.
Immediately after, they allegedly immobilized the victim by holding his hands and stole his wallet, which contained 60 euros. Subsequently, the alleged perpetrators fled the scene, leaving the elderly man on the ground with injuries to his hand.
This incident has generated significant social alarm in Estepa, given the victim's advanced age and vulnerability.
