Residents of Camino de la Calera in Gerena will remain evacuated from their homes as a precaution, according to the town's mayor, María Tenorio, following a meeting of the Advanced Command Post.
Although the weather forecast is favorable, the mayor highlighted the need to wait and assess the wind's behavior. "For now, it seems very favorable," she stated.
Regarding the residents of the scattered houses along the road, who were evacuated preventively, Tenorio explained that they cannot yet return to their homes.
However, it has been proposed and requested that property owners in the area be allowed temporary access to feed their livestock. "We have indeed stated and requested that the owners in that area can enter to feed the livestock," the mayor declared.
