The agreement, signed this morning in the plenary hall of the Guillena City Hall, establishes a framework for cooperation in joint activities for training, skill development, and basketball promotion. The goal is to create new opportunities for young players in the municipality and strengthen the connection between grassroots and high-level basketball.
The collaboration includes organizing tournaments, camps, sports days, and promoting young talents. Additionally, it will facilitate bringing the Caja87 first team closer to local players, including visits from its members, clinics, and the participation of Guillena's athletes in the first team's matches in Seville.
Raúl Pérez, Head of Institutional Relations for Caja87, and Cristóbal Moreno, president of Club Baloncesto Guillena, participated in the signing. Manuel Vázquez, Sports Councilor for the Guillena City Hall, also attended.
This agreement also aims to generate resources for both entities and offer special conditions to members of the Guillena club for purchasing season tickets and match tickets for Caja87. An exclusive day dedicated to the local club during a first-team home game is also planned.
For Caja87, this agreement reinforces its commitment to grassroots basketball and the creation of a collaborative network in the province of Seville. For its part, the Club Baloncesto Guillena and the Guillena City Hall are committed to sport as a tool for education, coexistence, and healthy habits.
