A tragic incident occurred in Bailén (Jaén) this morning, where a 64-year-old man lost his life after being electrocuted at an electrical tower. The incident took place in an area near the A-4 highway.
The alert was received at 7:45 AM when a private citizen contacted the 112 emergency services reporting a man at an electricity tower on Camino de la Cuesta del Molino. Responding to the scene were officers from the Local Police, Guardia Civil, and the 061 Health Emergency Center.
Police and health sources have confirmed that the victim died from electrocution. Investigations are currently underway to determine the exact circumstances and causes surrounding this fatal event.
