The Area of Inclusion, Social Welfare, Equality, Family, Health, Childhood, and Elderly of the Bailén council is promoting this training activity. The objective is to offer parents resources to manage this growth stage and effectively guide young people.
This initiative is part of the Program for the prevention and management of conflict and/or difficulties in families with adolescents in Bailén. The program is funded by grants from the Area of Equality, Social Welfare, and Youth of the Provincial Council of Jaén, intended for municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants, under its Childhood and Family line.
The session will take place on October 14th at 10:00 AM in the Auditorium of the Bailén Community Social Services Center, located in Plaza de Prim.

The Councilor for Childhood and Social Welfare, Alfonsa García, highlighted the importance of creating spaces for guidance and support for families during adolescence. The workshop will address the main changes of this stage and the risks to which young people may be exposed, emphasizing that accompanying means knowing how to listen, understand, and maintain fluid communication to detect early difficulties.
García encouraged family participation, describing the workshop as a 'close, practical, and participatory space' where they can raise their questions and obtain useful tools for daily life.
Specialized professionals from entities such as the Columbares Association and the El Salto Adelante Association, both integrated into the Andalusian Regional Strategy for Social Cohesion and Inclusion (ERACIS), will lead the training. Among them are Patricia Fernández Salas, María José Ortega Padilla, Sandra Santamaría Navío, and Baltasar Mendoza Fernández.

The councilor reiterated the importance of prevention and early intervention, highlighting the commitment of the City Council and Social Services to work alongside families to strengthen coexistence and the well-being of minors.
