The campaign, which begins on October 1st, will prioritize various groups. From that date, appointment scheduling will start for infant population aged 6 to 59 months, teaching staff under 5 years old, individuals aged 5 to 17 with pathologies, institutionalized persons and nursing home workers, healthcare and social-health center staff and students, and pregnant women or those in the postpartum period (during the first 6 months).
On October 7th, vaccination will be available for the general population aged 80 and over, as well as for individuals with high dependency at home and their regular caregivers.
Subsequently, on October 14th, the general population aged 70 and over will be vaccinated. Finally, starting October 21st, vaccination will open for the general population aged 60 and over, adults aged 18 to 59 with pathologies, state security forces and bodies, firefighters, prison staff, and professionals exposed to animals.
It is reminded that household members of the target groups can get vaccinated at the same time. The flu vaccine is available from 6 months of age, while the COVID-19 vaccine is administered from 12 years of age.
