The police operation has intensified after the vehicle used by the attackers was found completely burnt, presumably to eliminate evidence. The investigation is progressing rapidly, and it is suspected that those involved may be trying to hide in neighboring provinces.
The shooting occurred on Rocabril Street in Huelma, where individuals from outside the municipality fired at residents. Initial hypotheses point to a settling of scores between two clans known as Los Lateros and Los Saules.
This conflict could be related to the murder of a 22-year-old man on June 2, 2025, in Adra, following a neighborhood dispute that escalated into a brawl and then a shooting. Investigators believe the homicide in Adra might be the trigger for the armed reprisal in Huelma.
