This initiative seeks to enhance the visibility of the province and reinforce its relationship with Recreativo de Huelva. The banner's message alludes to the rich history of football in the region and the identity that El Decano represents for its supporters.
The banner will be integrated into the Grada de la Provincia (Province Stand), a space promoted by the Diputación (Provincial Council) that has successfully established itself since its inception. This section has become a key point for supporting the team, with a notable influx of fans from various parts of the province at every match.
The positive reception of this proposal in recent matchdays underscores the growing interest and prominence it has gained in the stadium. During a crucial part of the season, this additional support reinforces the idea that Recreativo de Huelva is a shared heritage for all residents of Huelva.
Inaugurated on March 1, the Grada de la Provincia, located in the South Goal of the Nuevo Colombino, has a capacity for 255 fans. This sector, predominantly blue, includes 82 white seats that symbolically represent the 80 municipalities and two autonomous local entities of the province.
Since its launch, the stand has hosted residents from numerous municipalities, including Paymogo, Sanlúcar de Guadiana, Aroche, La Palma del Condado, Lucena del Puerto, Cortelazor, El Granado, Manzanilla, and Aljaraque. In the last home game, fans from Cabezas Rubias, Cañaveral de León, San Bartolomé de la Torre, and Escacena del Campo were present.
This Sunday, the featured municipalities will be Villanueva de los Castillejos, Villablanca, Corteconcepción, Cortegana, Cala, and Santa Olalla del Cala, continuing an initiative that consistently adds towns to cheer on Recre. The new banner will bring a refreshed image to this area of the stadium, highlighting the support of all municipalities for the club beyond the sporting aspect.
