The town of Olvera in the province of Cadiz is preparing to host the fifth edition of its Stock Fair, an event organized by the City Council in collaboration with local businesses. The fair will run from May 29-31 at the fairgrounds, featuring a wide range of products with special discounts, alongside a parallel program of activities designed for family enjoyment.
The inauguration is scheduled for Friday, May 29, at 12:00 PM. On the first day, the fair will be open until 9:00 PM and will include two sessions of the game 'The Price is Right' at 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM, as well as a children's jewelry-making workshop between 5:30 PM and 8:30 PM.
On Saturday, May 30, the hours will be from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The day will feature a children's painting workshop (11:00 AM - 2:00 PM), more sessions of 'The Price is Right' (1:00 PM and 6:30 PM), and free giant attractions such as an eliminator, giant goal, and bouncy castles (5:30 PM - 8:30 PM). At 7:00 PM, the flamenco group Abraham Fajardo will perform.
On Sunday, May 31, the final day, the fair will be open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Attendees can enjoy the children's workshop 'Paint Your Own Pot' (11:00 AM - 2:00 PM), mini-fairs, bouncy castles, and a bubble soccer tournament during the same hours. The last session of the game will take place at 1:00 PM.
One of the notable new features this year is the game 'The Price is Right', where participants must guess the actual price of various products. The organization will be giving away over 1,000 euros in prizes redeemable at participating stores. To be eligible for prizes, participants must make a purchase and deposit the ticket in the ballot box at the City Council stand.
In addition to the commercial offerings and leisure activities, the fair will have a bar service at affordable prices, managed by the Hermandad de Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno y Nuestra Señora de los Dolores. The main objective of the event is to promote local commerce and provide an attractive leisure option for the last weekend of May.
