The contenders for leadership of the Junta de Andalucía are exercising their right to vote in different towns. The acting president, Juanma Moreno (PP), is voting at the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús school in Málaga. Meanwhile, socialist candidate María Jesús Montero, former Vice President of the Government, aims to regain power by voting at the Colegio de Escuelas Profesionales Sagrada Familia Nuestra Señora de los Reyes in Seville. Her campaign has focused on defending the public health system.
The spokesperson for Vox in Andalusia, Manuel Gavira, seeks to be a decisive factor in governance and is casting his vote at the San Vicente de Paúl school in Cádiz. His message centers on security and reducing public spending.
Antonio Maíllo, a key figure for Por Andalucía, is voting at the Colegio Salesiano Santísima Trinidad in Seville, advocating for progressive unity and the defense of public services.
Lastly, José Ignacio García of Adelante Andalucía is voting at Sala Paúl in Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz), focusing on housing and labor precarity.
