The Vinoble 2026 fair has concluded in Jerez with a record 7,389 visitors and the participation of 116 wineries, consolidating the city's role as a global benchmark for noble and fortified wines and fostering European cooperation.
The recent edition of Vinoble 2026, held in Jerez, exceeded expectations by registering 7,389 visits and bringing together 116 wineries, solidifying the city's status as a world reference in the promotion of noble and fortified wines. The event, which ran from Saturday afternoon to Monday, reinforced Jerez's identity as a showcase for unique wines and promoted cooperation among European territories with shared wine legacies.
The mayor of Jerez, María José García-Pelayo, expressed her satisfaction with the organizational success and high participation, highlighting the "effort of the Regulatory Council and all participants". She emphasized the "international cooperation" achieved and the "decisive steps" taken in Jerez to recognize the universal value of the culture of the vine and wine.
Vinoble 2026 also hosted two significant institutional events: the signing of the Declaration of Historic Fortified Wines of Europe, with representatives from Greece, Italy, France, Portugal, and Jerez; and a working meeting to advance the candidacy of the 'Sun Belt' Fortified Wines as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The new format, which facilitated exhibitor participation, attracted over five thousand accredited individuals from 40 nationalities. The event included eleven gastronomic experiences for 500 attendees and eighteen tastings in El Alcázar, with more than 800 registered participants. The presence of the 'Échale Cádiz' brand and the 'Gusto del Sur' space from the Junta de Andalucía enhanced the agri-food offerings.
