The renowned fashion label The Nook Store, with physical stores in Sevilla, Madrid, El Puerto de Santa María, and Sotogrande, is marking a decade in the fashion industry. To commemorate this milestone, the brand has organized a special fashion show at Río Grande, where it presented its latest offerings in swimwear and guest attire.
Ana Gallardo, one of the founders, emphasized the significance of this achievement in a competitive market dominated by fast fashion. Alongside her sister Carmuca, they have transformed a small garage in the El Porvenir neighborhood into a fashion reference, particularly among stylish women in Seville and across Spain.
The swimwear collection, building on last year's success, features minimalist designs in black and white, focusing on simplicity and versatility for pairing with colorful sarongs. The brand has placed a strong emphasis on the quality of fabrics and craftsmanship.
Furthermore, the guest wear line draws inspiration from India, utilizing the artisanal 'block print' technique with natural dyes and embroidered details. Each pattern, hand-carved onto wooden blocks, lends a unique personality to every garment. The looks were accessorized with oversized floral headdresses created in collaboration with florists from the Mercado de las Flores del Porvenir.
Since its beginnings in 2016 as a multi-brand space with a dream of designing, The Nook Store has grown to achieve revenues of up to 2 million euros. Its success has been boosted by social media, establishing it as a go-to brand for original and diverse designs, including their popular shawls for the Feria de Abril. The company is already planning to expand into shoe design.
The brand's concept is defined as 'fun elegance,' aiming to embody a joyful and bold woman who enjoys experimenting with movement and volume, favoring a colorful aesthetic inspired by India's vibrant hues.
