The Ministry of Transport has set minimum services for the Renfe strike called for this Friday, July 31st, coinciding with the start of August and a period of high mobility. After failing to reach an agreement with the strike committee, the Ministry will guarantee 'the most urgent travel' and 'information, customer service, and incident resolution'.
On the commuter networks of Málaga, Sevilla, and Cádiz, 75% of services will be maintained during peak hours and 50% during off-peak hours, affecting over 60,000 people. For detailed information, it is recommended to consult real-time schedules for each province.
Regarding Andalusian Medium-Distance trains, 65% of the usual services will operate. The Ministry has assured 'at least one train per direction per day' for routes analyzed based on passenger volume.
High-speed and Long-Distance train services, which transport up to 16,585 passengers daily, will have 73% of their operations guaranteed. In Andalusia, the specific AVE and high-speed routes that will run have been detailed, connecting key points such as Sevilla, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Málaga, Córdoba, Granada, Antequera, Cádiz, Huelva, and Jaén.
For travelers whose trains have been canceled, the Government has established as an alternative 'to postpone the trip or travel by another means if possible'. It is recalled that travelers are entitled to an alternative transport arrangement or a refund of the ticket price.
