The security operation deployed at the Seville Fair reported a total of thirteen arrests during Friday, with seven of these arrests linked to traffic violations. Additionally, seven police investigations were initiated throughout the day.
Among the most notable incidents, authorities intervened at various points within the fairgrounds due to robberies, disturbances, and public order issues. Arrests were also made for offenses against law enforcement officers, and capacity and safety checks were conducted in the casetas (fair tents).
In terms of public safety, the National Police arrested two women allegedly specialized in home robberies, as part of a preventive operation. Furthermore, three young individuals were apprehended for the violent robbery of two mobile phones on Calle del Infierno, which were subsequently recovered and returned to their owner.
Regarding public transport, six complaints were filed against taxis and five against ride-sharing vehicles (VTCs) for various infractions. The cumulative total for the 2026 Fair stands at 18 complaints against taxis and 29 against VTCs, according to municipal data.
