The building, recognized as the best-preserved medieval shipyard in the world, enters a key stage following its official handover. This step allows for the activation of the roadmap designed to give the property a new life as an exhibition space, focusing on the historical and contemporary connection between Seville and America.
The project includes the integration of state-of-the-art immersive experiences. Through the use of light, sound, and volumetric projections, the future center seeks to reinterpret historical heritage from a digital and participatory perspective, aligning with current cultural mediation demands that combine art, science, and memory.
Project management has emphasized that technology will serve as a tool to amplify the visitor experience without compromising the monument's essence. To this end, work is underway to hire specialized operators who will manage strategic areas such as cultural programming, communication, and general services for the venue.
