The Seville Musical Youth Association is bringing its concert season to a close with the celebration of its 36th Spring Festival, an event that emphasizes support for young performers and will be held across several city venues.

Following a season that began in September and featured over twenty-five concerts, the organization presents its traditional Spring Festival, which this year includes a special collaboration dedicated to choral music. The primary objective remains to provide a platform for talented young musicians, supporting their burgeoning professional careers in performance.
With financial backing from the ICAS of the Seville City Council and private sponsorship from the Royal Cavalry Armory of Seville, the festival will again utilize two main venues: the Cajasol Foundation Theatre and the Captaincy Theatre. A new addition this year is the Admiral's Hall of the Royal Alcázar, expanding the spaces for musical dissemination.
Concerts are by invitation only, which can be requested at the Cajasol box office, at the Musical Youth headquarters, or via email for the closing concert, until available capacities are filled. The program kicks off on Monday, May 25th, at 8:00 PM in the Cajasol Theatre with the Chamber Trio (violin, cello, and piano), performing works by Brahms and Mendelssohn.
In June, on Monday the 1st at 8:30 PM, Georgian pianist David Khrikuli will present a recital dedicated to Chopin in the Admiral's Hall of the Royal Alcázar. On Monday the 8th, at 8:00 PM, pianist Pedro López Salas will perform at the Cajasol Foundation Theatre with a repertoire including pieces by Soler, Chopin, Haydn, Liszt, and Granados.
The festival's closing performance will be by the Seville Baroque Youth Orchestra, conducted by Valentín Sánchez, on Tuesday the 16th at 8:00 PM in the Captaincy Theatre, featuring a program of baroque music. Additionally, on Saturday the 13th at 9:30 PM, the Goshen College Choir from Indiana (USA) will offer a sacred music concert at the Church of the Convent of Santo Ángel with free admission.
The association is already working on the 26/27 season, with confirmed collaborations with the Maestranza Theatre and the Royal Symphonic Orchestra of Seville, reaffirming its commitment to providing opportunities for young talents across various musical genres and enriching the city's cultural offerings.
