Real Sociedad has received positive news with the return of Gonzalo Guedes to training sessions. The Portuguese player, who had been absent in previous days, has rejoined the squad ahead of Monday's clash against Sevilla FC.
Coach Pellegrino Matarazzo was able to count on Guedes' return in the penultimate session before the trip to Seville. The midfielder missed his team's last two matches against Getafe and Rayo Vallecano due to an ankle sprain sustained during the Copa del Rey final.
Although starting the match seems unlikely, his inclusion in the squad list is almost certain. Guedes has proven to be a key player for the txuri-urdin side this season, accumulating nine goals and eight assists in 38 appearances, 22 of which were as a starter.
On the other hand, Real Sociedad will be without Igor Zubeldia and Jon Karrikaburu for the match in Nervión, as both players are out due to injury.
