The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued a yellow alert for the Genil Basin due to forecasts of high temperatures, where the mercury could rise to 39 degrees. Concurrently, the regions of Guadix and Baza will be on alert for the risk of storms, which could be accompanied by very strong wind gusts in the northeast of the province.
The weather forecast for this Sunday in Granada anticipates predominantly clear or slightly cloudy skies. However, daytime cloud development is expected in the inland mountains, potentially leading to showers and storms in the afternoon.
Temperatures will remain largely unchanged. In Granada city, the mercury will fluctuate between 22 and 39 degrees. Winds will be light and variable, tending towards a westerly component, and will be occasionally moderate in the interior during the afternoon, according to Aemet.
