The Deportivo Gimnasia Rítmica Vera Club demonstrated its strength at the final of the Andalusian Promises Championship, held in Fuengirola from June 5th to 7th. The entity has reaffirmed its position as a benchmark in Andalusian rhythmic gymnastics by obtaining an autonomous title, a bronze medal, and a diploma.
A total of twenty-nine gymnasts from the club participated across various categories, including Alevín A, Infantil B, Cadete A, Juvenil C, and the Mini Group, along with the individual performance of Paula Soria in the junior category. The competition is one of the most demanding grassroots events on the regional calendar.
The highest honor came from the Mini Group, which was crowned champion of Andalusia thanks to an execution of high technical and artistic quality. This gold medal represents the culmination of their progress, after having been Andalusian runners-up in 2025.
The Juvenil C team also excelled, securing the bronze medal. Meanwhile, the Infantil B team achieved a commendable fifth position, earning them a diploma in a highly competitive category.
The club's other teams delivered high-level performances in a championship organized by the Andalusian Gymnastics Federation, which brings together the best emerging talents from the autonomous community each season.
These results underscore the solid sports project of the Deportivo Gimnasia Rítmica Vera Club and the quality of its federated work, carrying the names of Vera and the province of Almería to the top.
“"The effort, consistency, and daily work of the gymnasts, the technical team, and the families, who continue to carry the name of Vera to the highest levels of Andalusian sport."
The club expressed gratitude for the support of the Vera City Council, whose backing for grassroots sports and federated activities is crucial. The availability of facilities like the Pabellón Blas Infante and municipal collaboration in competition participation are key to the entity's growth.
