The company Construcciones Garrucho SA will be responsible for carrying out the construction of the parking facility, which will be located on a municipal plot of 5,300 square meters between Milonas and Granainas streets.
The new parking lot will offer a total of 210 spaces, including six for people with reduced mobility and 19 for motorcycles. Additionally, a specific area for ambulances will be designated, serving the recently opened health center.
The island's Council emphasizes that this project is part of the municipal tactical parking network, promoting sustainable transport modes and reducing polluting vehicle traffic in the city.
The works include not only leveling and asphalting but also the installation of drainage systems, lighting, access, removal of architectural barriers, paving, and signage, in addition to landscaping.
