The third electoral update for the 2026 Andalusian elections, released at 6:00 PM, shows a participation rate of 52.16%. By that time, 3,392,755 citizens had exercised their right to vote in the autonomous community. This figure represents a notable increase of 7.64 percentage points compared to the 2022 regional elections, when participation at the same hour was 44.51%.
Voter turnout has shown consistent growth throughout the afternoon, widening the positive difference compared to the elections held four years ago in all Andalusian provinces. The election day reflects an upward trend in citizen participation.
Granada leads the provincial participation increase with 53.54%, an increase of 9.07 percentage points compared to 2022 (44.47%). It is followed by Almería (50.36% | +8.59 points), Huelva (48.10% | +8.21 points), and Seville (54.83% | +8.05 points).
In terms of the highest percentages, Córdoba and Seville exceed 54% participation. Córdoba records 55.12% (+6.64 points compared to 2022), while Seville reaches 54.83% (+8.05 points). The remaining provinces show the following data: Cádiz (48.58% | +7.22 points), Jaén (53.82% | +6.61 points), and Málaga (50.66% | +7.07 points).
The 6:00 PM update is based on communication percentages close to or equal to 100% in all provinces, consolidating the increase in participation. It is worth remembering that the second update, at 2:00 PM, already showed an increase of 3.01% compared to 2022, with a participation rate of 37.25%.
