The municipal delegate for Contracting, Jorge Fernández, announced the awarding of the works, which aim to transform the street into an almost new space. The project includes the renewal of the water supply and sewage systems, the undergrounding of aerial cabling, pavement improvements, and the creation of new sidewalks.
Fernández recalled that Tomilla street was in a very deteriorated state and that this action was much needed by residents. He also noted that work continues on improvements for Albahaca street, in Cruz de San Jorge, whose works will be re-tendered after being declared void twice due to technical complications.
