The cultural event, which has become a staple in the local calendar, will fill these summer nights in the heart of Ronda with music. The mayor of Ronda, Mari Paz Fernández, along with the Councilor for Culture, Rebeca Muñoz, presented the upcoming edition of this musical event at the Convento de Santo Domingo.
The concerts, supported by the Provincial Council of Málaga and the company Costa del Sol Málaga, will begin at 11:00 PM, with DJ sets continuing until 2:00 AM. Municipal organization is handled by Turismo de Ronda, S. A., led by the Councilor for Tourism, Ángel Martínez.
The first concert, on Friday, August 14, will be a tribute to El Canto del Loco with the show Llanto del Loco, honoring the popular Spanish pop-rock group from the 2000s. On Saturday, August 15, Javi Medina will perform, a musician from Madrid who blends flamenco, rumba, pop, and urban sounds, known for his collaborations with artists like Camilo.
The festival will conclude on Sunday, August 16, with a performance by the Málaga-based singer-songwriter Líder J, who has carved out a significant niche in flamenco-infused reggaeton. Pinsapo Sound was established in 2019 with the aim of enlivening summer nights in Ronda.
Mayor Fernández recalled the festival's history, which has featured artists such as Henry Méndez, Malamanera, Frank Diago, Omar Montes, Comando G, Electroduendes, La Unión, Álvaro Urquijo (from Los Secretos), Camín, and Nancys Rubias (with Mario Vaquerizo). She also highlighted other cultural initiatives like the Noche en Blanco (White Night), scheduled for July 10, which will include a concert by Okey Makey and the broadcast of the Spanish national team's match against Belgium at Plaza Teniente Arce.
