The incident took place at kilometer 3 of the A-1051, the road to Alicún, as reported by the 112 emergency service of Andalusia. The coordination center received the alert at 6:00 PM, warning of an accident with several injured individuals.

Emergency services, including the 061 Health Emergencies Center, the Guardia Civil de Tráfico (Traffic Civil Guard), and the Local Police, along with road maintenance crews, were dispatched to the scene to manage the emergency and traffic.

On-site medical personnel confirmed the death of one person at the scene. Another injured individual, whose condition was deemed serious, was transported to Torrecárdenas Hospital.
