The municipal delegate for Urban Maintenance, Mari Ángeles Martínez Rico, announced that work has been carried out at CEIP Los Remedios, Isabel la Católica, Tierno Galván, El Castillo, Las Albinas, Carmen Sedofeito, José de la Vega, and Federico García Lorca. Interventions have also begun at La Barrosa, with Al-Ándalus to be addressed soon.
These actions, described as "very important and necessary," include repairing cracks, roofs, painting classrooms, fixing fences, and structural work on elements like floor slabs and pillars. At CEIP Federico García Lorca, in addition to maintenance, lighting has been reinforced, and an anti-vandalism door will be installed.
The total investment of nearly 200,000 euros comes from the summer conservation and maintenance campaign. The delegate revealed that another project with a similar budget is being prepared to continue with repairs and painting in the educational centers.
Martínez Rico emphasized that the City Council is addressing demands not covered by the Junta de Andalucía, particularly in structural work, stating that "the children of Chiclana need these actions."

At CEIP Los Remedios, leaks have been repaired, blind boxes replaced, cracks and fences fixed, and facades painted. CEIP Isabel La Católica has seen its perimeter walls reinforced, interiors painted, and cornices and leaks repaired. CEIP Tierno Galván received leveling work, rainwater drainage, coating repairs, toilet adaptations, and pump replacement.
CEIP El Castillo had its main fence repaired, facades and walls painted, and window frames will be replaced. At CEIP Las Albinas, roofs and cornices have been waterproofed, and vertical and horizontal coatings repaired, along with perimeter wall repairs. CEIP Carmen Sedofeito underwent complete porch waterproofing, crack repairs, exterior and interior painting, and replacement of downpipes and structural repairs.
At CEIP José de la Vega, structural repairs were carried out on the gym's cornices and facades. CEIP Federico García Lorca has had its interior and exterior coatings repaired, and a protective sliding door will be installed.
Finally, at CEIP La Barrosa, exterior railings and gates will be repaired and painted, while at CEIP Al-Ándalus, structural repairs to the old guardhouse, coatings, painting, and the removal of a damp-affected room will be addressed.
